I found it extremely boring, if you ask me, absolutely not what I had expected.

My favorite film of 2014 and a beautiful farewell to Philip Seymour Hoffman. There ought to be more realistic spy films like these as compared to Bond.

Imayne, sometimes I really think that we got different tastes in movies... If I may ask: how would you rate this movie at the imdb? And what I've always wanted to know from you: what's the worst movie of all time in your opinion (I only mean movies of which you didn't EXPECT that they were bad, titles like "3-headed sharks" or so don't count)? To me, "first name Carmen" with Maruschka Detmers is by far the worst movie I've ever watched (I can't stand the music of the violines for example, but also the plot...).

No reply from Imayne? What a pity, I just wanted to ask him if "Melancholia" is a masterpiece in his opinion. Well, I am sure he thinks so and then I would have replied that "Melancholia" is boring AND unrealistic in my opinion... Yes, I KNOW that the planet stands for an always changing depression, but nevertheless...

I did not like the characters, but I thought Melancholia was well-made.
