I picked up a copy of "Globe" magazine which is a Collector's Issue. (In their opinion) The Shocking Secrets of America's Favorite TV Shows. Talking about drugs, sex and booze, etc. ----- I know Globe is just another tabloid magazine and what they printed about these old TV shows is just trash and most of it can't be proven, but we can vote for our favorite TV shows from their list. ----- More TV shows in the next poll. ----- Rusty

Some omissions, of course. Phil Silvers is nowhere to be found. Mike Douglas and Merv Griffin from day time aren't around. Art Linkletter and PEOPLE ARE FUNNY...missing. Green Acres, Beverly Hillbillies, were great comedies not mentioned. And Ernie Kovaks...just go out and get the box set from Shout Factory. But yeah, a lot of memories, Rusty. Thanks.

Big Daddy, Shout Factory did a great job in releasing three of Ernie Kovacs collections. A few years ago Universal released season one of "Dragnet" on DVD, and it took three years until Shout finally released the last three seasons on DVD. I wish they would do the same for "The Phil Silvers Show", the first season was released three years ago and the last three seasons have yet to be released on DVD. ------ Rusty
