i am IN LOVE w/ the twilight zone!!!! it's a great show. every new years eve as far as im aware of, there's a big twilight zone marathon, aaaaaall nite and all morning long. 1 year i stayed @ my friend jessi's house, and we watched almost EVERY EPISODE they aired. it was FANTASTIC! my favorite 1 has 2 b..the 1 w/ the talking doll that's gonna kill every1. and then the 1 when the guy's on the plane and the yheti keeps comin on the wing. that's always good 4 a few laughs. some of them r reeeeeeally dumb though. the new 1s r actually SO scary!! we always joke around @ school about how we're all really Sims, and we're in the special Twilight Zone edition. twilight zone will live on 4ever and ever and ever and ever and ever!!! :-*smooches; ~Jen~

Jen and Lia, I'm proud of you two for casting a vote that you both love "The Twilight Zone" as much as Winona does. ------- I grew up watching the show forty years ago and I still love the Twilight Zone", The very first TV series I bought all of the episodes on DVDs of, was "The Twilight Zone" Back in 2001 when I started buying the show on DVD I was in seventh heaven getting all of the "The Twilight Zone" on DVD within one year. ---------- Rusty

Still get great laughs with my impressonation of Serling at work...yeah, I love the Twilight Zone... Jen, the thing on the wing is a gremlin...not the car from AMC...but little critters that pilots thought they saw during the War that they thought were responsible for wing damage...they were, of course, imaginary...the pilots were suffering from either oxygen dep or their minds were going ga ga from not seeing anything but blue skies...this was the theory, until Wolf captured one and tamed it in his home, right beside the dust bunnies...the one that Wolf has was taught how to guzzle beer and how to play stud poker...when it got bigger it changed it's name to Rush..something... There is an old Bugs Bunny cartoon from WWII that has him matching wits with one...the critter turns up in the Tree House of Terror episode where Bart is on his school bus and does the version of the airplane episode. I was always glad Winona was a fan...especially when you consider the MORALITY of the series...but told in a ripping good way...

Is anyone here watching the new series? The latest episode of running a kid for President as a cockeyed take on "It's a Good Life" is both timely and darkly hilarious as a commentary on parachuting juvenile know-nothings into important positions.

No. But I did see the preview and it doesn't seem no where as interesting and fantastic as the original (rarely ever, is anything). Additionally, your take on that latest episode seemed suspect to something you really wanted to say further (or outright, actually). Like, specifically, what exactly do you mean by "both timely and darkly hilarious" ? Just be honest and clear. Don't subtext around the issue.
