Hi Paul,
Another great list. While I'm not too surprised at your Liz Hurley choice, I'm delighted by your Greta Scacchi choice . . . I was pretty sure I was going to be alone on that. Greta has done a number of Austrailian films, but I'm pretty sure her she is half Italian and half English. I am sure that she has been living in England for many years.
Also, I didn't know about your inference about Jody Foster, although it makes sense upon reflection. When I told my bandmates about Winona they each had their favorites . . . one of the guys worships Jodie. However, I don't have the heart to tell him this new info.
Kristin Scott Thomas is another elegant lady that I wish I had room for on my list. An extraordinary actress and quite a beauty. Hell, next time maybe we should do our top 25 so we can really "cover the bases."
Cheers, Charles

Winona Ryder 10.Winona Ryder A passionate night between me and you I can't begin to tell you the things I WANT TO DO. First we can dim the lights and get closer..... No, wait, that's too fast, let's go back and move a little slower. I'll kiss your lips that are so soft and sweet, then move on to your cheek that's so smooth and unique. Then I'll move right along that little ear of yours... Whoa... my, my... let me move along your chest... Uh, oh I missed a spot, let me move back up to the neck As I move my tongue around and around you start to feel it as I go down slowly and as I kiss your chest your hands go up ...but I'm not finished yet.... I go further down towards your navel... As I move down past your waist line I begin to kiss.... Oh, I just wake up to realize it's a dream ! A passionate dream fueled by my deep love for you.

Hi Charles,
About Greta, apparently she lived in Australia at one point and I remember an interview in which I must have picked up on that but wrongly assumed she was of Australian nationality. Anyway, when I think about it, it is quite a coincidence that she was on both of our lists, as she's not really, really famous.
I was watching a documentary about four child stars who grew up in the public eye and one of them was Jodie Foster. The programme went to great lengths on more than one occasion to strongly hint at Jodie's preferences but protected itself always by using words like "alegedly". I don't think they would have made such a big deal out of it if it weren't true, so, it's not good news for your buddy in your band if he finds out. On the other hand, if the programme has got it wrong then I'm helping spread gossip, which disturbs me a little.

Hi Paul,
Not to worry about the gossip . . . having mentioned Jodie's possible preference, it ABSOLUTELY makes sense; all the piece fall together.
About Greta, I first saw her in the "Coca Cola Kid" but she didn't really make an impression until I saw "White Mischief." A truly breathtaking beauty . . .
Cheers, Charles

My List, a lot of which are up-and-coming, since this is just fantasy, sometimes having that person's track record of love being rather bland and unspoken of, there's more left to the imagination. Except for Ms Ryder because she captured my imagination ever since I was a teen.
1. Winona Ryder (I'd suck face with her even if she turned undead like in Dracula) 2. Jennifer Garner (if Scott Foley wasn't around) 3. Zhang Ziyi 4. Jaime King 5. Scarlett Johansson 6. Sarah Polley 7. Do Thi Hai Yen (from "The Quiet American") or Rosamund Pike (of "Die Another Day") 8. Bridget Moynahan 9. Piper Perabo 10. Jennifer Garner (if I can sneak past Scott Foley)
PS If there's one movie character you'd like to get kissed to death by, who's with me that Ryder as the undead Mina (This is in another forum already) would be the top pick? If Ryder was Pamela Isley/ Poison Ivy in "Batman and Robin" (And we ALL KNOW how George Clooney will react to that), the next Batman movie will probably have to be named "Batman: Resurrection".

Get me my Holy Water, my crucifix, my stake and my sunlight. Heck, I need Wesley Snipes' sword in "Blade".
All I can say is, Peta Wilson has a lot to live up to playing the same role in LXG.
I think a lot of people don't give that movie its credit, though, I mean, it started the whole "sexy, classy undead" trend in the 90s. Of late, vampire films can be classified into two categories. Both, coincidentally, don't have scaring the bejeezus out of the audience at heart. The "urban Western" type that features the undead as bikers and punks and road whores ("From Dusk Till Dawn", "Near Dark", "The Lost Boys", "John Carpenter's Vampires"). These are basically action films that feature undead in place of mobsters or druglords.
Then that movie came along and established a new trend: Gothic, glamorous productions with operatic storylines and heavy special effects budgets. These are lurid romances in the guise of undead films. The undead here are classy aristocratic types who ponder deep philosophical things and brood on into eternity. "Interview with the Vampire", "Queen of the Damned", and the recent French hit "Brotherhood of the Wolf" wouldn't have come into existence without it. (Okay, BotW wasn't a vamp flick per se, but Monica Bellucci's role was pretty close to one.) The "Blade" films fall somewhere between the two major categories.
