Great find, Hugo. The film seems to be very secretive (no big surprise given Winona). Keanu is a cool actor. Hopefully details will come to light soon. Thanks.

It's weird, that there weren't big news about the movie yet.
This happened on the past with at least 4 Ryder indie movies. Asia Argento's Heart..., David Wain the Ten, The last Word and Sex and Death 101.-
So I guess is common, 4 low budget movies. The director is the director of sitcom Mad about you and 5 to 7, an indie flick I guess with late Anton Yelchin and Glenn Close.-
I think also happened in a lesser way with big budget Mr. Deeds. I never heard about the movie, until I've seen Ryder on the set. But I guess that was because she as a last minute replacement. Sharon Stone was the original choice, and in 2000 internet wasn't developed like know, that we have several applications, that made almost impossible to hide stuff.

John Wick 3: Mr and Mrs. Wick. (2018 release)
Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder. After escaping from killers, the Russian mob, and assorted armed enemies, John Wick settles down in coastal California to marry a local cafe owner who also loves his dog. What Wick does not know is that she is an ex Navy Seal with a past and enemies of her own who come to town to settle the score. Both Mr and Mrs. Wick naturally assume the threats are for themselves alone and are not anxious to worry their new spouse and try to keep the body count in the background. Until 40 hired killers show up for the slam bang climax involving 15 stunt cars and four car chase that is set to rival both THE FRENCH CONNECTION and BULLET. Ryder spent four months training for the film with martial arts instructors and small arms experts but says the bustier she had to wear in the honeymoon scene was the worst part. "I could NOT breathe. Thought I'd pass right out. It really helped that Dorkface (her pet name for her old pal Keanu) was sitting there making faces with that stupid dog who was in every scene. "I'm kidding. I like the dog." Ryder also admits to enjoying the car chases that have become trademarks of the franchise. "You get to smash up a car and burn rubber at a 100 miles an hour. Who needs therapy?"
Okay okay...it's all from the top of my head. Made the whole thing up..
But wouldn't it be cool if it was real?
Now watch. Some nimrod with NO attention span just reads the fun part, ignores the disclaimer and they have to wind up making the thing.

Funny thing. The role you described for her is pretty much the role (US Army Major Sniper Nina Price) that was excised from the original novel for Homefront when it made it to the screen.I thought the film was better than the book for that reason though.

Confirmed!!! www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/keanu-reeves-winona-ryder-team-up-destination-wedding-1033856Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder Team Up for 'Destination Wedding' 10:03 AM PDT 8/30/2017 by Alex Ritman FACEBOOK TWITTER EMAIL ME PRINT COMMENTS Getty Images Winona Ryder, Keanu Reeves The pair previously co-starred in 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' and 'A Scanner Darkly.' With an onscreen partnership that began back in 1992 with Bram Stoker's Dracula from Francis Ford Coppola and continued with Richard Linklater's A Scanner Darkly in 2006, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder are pairing up once more. Comedy Destination Wedding, to be directed by Victor Levin (5 to 7) from his own script, tells the story of two miserable and unpleasant wedding guests, both pariahs at this affair, who develop a mutual affection despite themselves. But to act on those feelings would be to trust hope over experience, a foolish choice indeed. Sunshine Pictures’ Gail Lyon is producing with Two Camel Films’ Elizabeth Dell. Robert Jones is producing for The Fyzz Facility, which is fully financing the film. Elevated’s Cassian Elwes and The Fyzz Facility’s Wayne Marc Godfrey are executive producing. Principal photography recently wrapped in central California. “Elizabeth and I have both known Vic a long time," Lyon said. "And it’s been our collective pleasure to work together, along with Cassian and The Fyzz, to bring this movie to life. Keanu and Winona bring a lot of history and chemistry to their roles, which adds a wonderful dimension to their performances and their dynamic.” Added Fyzz Factory's Jones: "When comedy is seated in character and truth it’s both funny and moving, and on that basis Vic’s screenplay is one of the best I’ve read in a long time. Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves are wonderfully skillful actors and their chemistry onscreen truly brings these irascible characters to life. Their unswerving commitment to the project is a testament to both material and director.” WME, Lawrence Kopeikin and Elwes are representing the film. Reeves and Levin are represented by WME, and Ryder by The Gersh Agency and Anonymous Content and Hirsch Wallerstein Hayum Matlof and Fishman.

Final trailer.
Well it is kind of Mr and Mrs Wick...if wisecracks were ammo. Should be fun to see her and Keanu deadpan it all the way through.

Actually it's more like Destination Wordplay:
"...because you're a monkey, who doesn't understand the human condition."
"Having met you, I understand why there's a condition."
---
So true. Brilliant. Love that interaction. Might be interesting - to view at, say, an airport, or somewhere in Italy, but I may be open-minded, because I'm probably more a conditional type, but still monkey.

Hmmm... NOW they're smiling at each other (geewiz, what intrigue). And do they, themselves, finally get married? (hey, it could be that trendy fake news train s**t, but I might seriously care less, either way, and then go write a drunken bittersweet tale, think like Hank Moody, while drinking some cheap good zinfindel) But, unlike myself, please do.. Be Good. I mean, someone has to...

That's a fake poster, right? Or at least just a prototype? The credits below the title are absolute nonsense.

Yeah, although I went beyond the possible obvious, it did seem fake to me at first (yes, the abso-nonsenso credits being the clue - and most definetly NOT mine, I'll be very honest). Though, you never know, it could be a 'prototipo sperimentare'. I found it on the IMDB film page.
Okay, so I didn't see it right... it was a German site. Anyhow, the observation of the source was misconstrued, but still odd.

So, guys, when's this movie opening where you live? I'll probably be able to watch it in late September.
