I just watched "Cool Hand Luke". How do you all like the movie. ----- The movie filmed in 1967, is already 38 years old, but is so timeless that I never get tired of watching it. A fantastic cast, Paul Newman. George Kennedy (Won an Oscar for his role as Dragline), Strother Martin, ----- "What we have here is failure to communicate" ----- A Classic!!! ----- Rusty

I feel the same way, Rusty. Luke is one of the most unforgettable characters ever in movies and I can't imagine anyone playing him besides Newman. Can't wait to see it again!

Another great quote, "Get out of my eyeballng seat you new meat" ---- George Kennedy as he gets into the prison van shoving a newbie out of his way. ------- Rusty

holy smoke!!! I get to say it! I GET TO SAY IT!!! "What we have here is a FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE"
One of the best from one of the best actors in Hollywood. Can't call it his best of all time because so many of his films are so GOOD.

How about the car-washing scene by Joy Harmon, who is so sexy that Paris Hilton should be embarrassed to even attempt such an obvious copy.

How about the car-washing scene by Joy Harmon, who is so sexy that Paris Hilton should be embarrassed to even attempt such an obvious copy. ------ I'm not sure these are the exact words, but I love when Dragline (George Kennedy) says "OH Lord, don't strike me blind." ------ Rusty

Main title from the soundtrack by Lilo Schifrin. Back in the day when they made the music for film and NOT just to sell soundtracks:

The perfect mix of kitschy Americana, profundity and folkloric charm. Good lines and great scenes galore. A triumph.
