During the last month since I got the Winona Ryder stamps on EBay I've really been buying Winona Ryder movie memorabilia and bidding on the auctions. ------ Well yesterday I finally got the "The Age of Innocence" original theatrical poster, and will be getting the posters for "Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael" and, a great find for me, "Girl Interrupted" in a few more days. ----- These are the very first original posters of Winona's movies that I have ever bought. ------ For those of you who know that I've been a fan of Winona Ryder since 1988 and might wonder why I haven't ever purchased one of her movie posters before, here's why I haven't done so until now. ----- Back in the early 1970's I started collecting original movie posters, but during the late 1970's to the early 1980's prices of posters started getting very expensive and I just quit collecting. ---- So when Winona started making movies in 1986 I never even considered buying posters from her movies. ------------------------------------ But now with the great bargains a person can find on Ebay I am going to try to get an original one-sheet movie poster from each and every one of her movies. ----- And considering that I've found three posters in just a months time, I wouldn't be surprised to get all of the poster from all of her movies within a years time. ----- Rusty

Does that mean you stop producing Winona T-shirts?

Does that mean you stop producing Winona T-shirts? ----- I hope you're kidding. ----- As long as Hewlitt-Packard sells their great T-shirt transfers I'll still make new T-shirts. ----- The only way I'll stop making them is when I drop dead. ----- Rusty

Right, right, Rusty, of course I was kidding. But I would like to thank you very much in advance for your decision to send any member here a new Winona T-shirt, you are very generous and I am sure all of us will welcome it. Now to some "bad news" for us, my friend: a few minutes ago I read on German videotext that people had seen Winona in a restaurant, eating and flirting with Val Kilmer. I suspect the worst, Val Kilmer has played Batman...

A red letter day for me as a Winona Ryder fan. I was woke up at 1 PM by the mailman ringing my doorbell. ---- I received two original posters "Girl Interrupted" and "Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael" ------ Seeing Winona's lovely images on those large posters is so fantastic. Absolutely stunning. ;D ----- Plus I just won an auction on EBay for the "Reality Bites" press kit. ----- God, I love Winona Ryder, as I collect her movie memorabilia on EBay. ----- Rusty

I can SEE what will happen next..t shirts made with pics from the press kit and shots of the posters on them... I had a shot at a Mexican lobby card of BEETLEJUICE, but it didn't feature Winona enough for me, so I let it pass..I tend to go with Mexican lobby cards, because they come up with different titles for movies that are untranslatable down there, and to pull the folks in, have much more colorfull, sometimes even lurid photos..

OH my God, I've also recently won an "Looking for Richard" press kit, a "Lost Souls" one-sheet poster. and the prize of all, a press kit from "Squaredance". The movie that was Winona Ryder's first starring role. -------- Waiting for the mail to deliver it. I'm excited like a child waiting for Christmas. Because I consider Winona's role as Gemma a major dramatic role for our lovely Winona Ryder. She was right up there with Jason Robards, Jane Alexander, and Rob Lowe, she was fabulous in the movie. ----- Rusty

Validating.................... please, no Val dating. Rusty, the ultimate or "meta" Winona T-shirt would have a picture which shows you producing a Winona T-shirt. ----- I don't think a picture of me ironing a transfer onto a T-shirt would make a good image. --------- Today, at Wal-Mart, I finally found 27 inch by 40 inch picture frames for my recently purchased Winona Ryder movie posters. The funny thing is the picture frames cost $19.84, They cost more than the actual movie posters cost me. ------ I just put all three posters, "Girl Interrupted", "The Age of Innocence", and "Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael" in the picture frames. And all I can say is, OH MY!!!!! These posters are incredible!!! ------ The "Girl Interrupted" poster is entirely covered with Winona's beautiful face, the "Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael" poster has that adorable picture of Winona in the pink dress she wore in the movie, and "The Age of Innocence" poster is stunning with images of Daniel Day-Lewis, Michelle Pfeiffer, and our lovely Winona Ryder. ------ This is a great start for my Winona Ryder movie poster collection. And I've paid E-Bay for, and am waiting for delivery of the posters of "How to Make an American Quilt", "Lost Souls", "The Crucible". and (this is a really fantastic find) a poster of "Mermaids" for just $20 ------ Rusty

No, I think a t shirt of you making a t shirt would be cool. You could be in your sunglasses, with three or four of the posters behind you with a big pic of Winona on the t shirt on the iron board..have a few more t shirts on the chairs, the press kit sitting up, maybe the little action figures..and you, wearing your fave t shirt... It could be a challenge..how many Winona items can you GET in one shot? Now as for Val..I wouldn't sweat it..from what I remember, the two know each other, go a ways back from either work in parrallel movie sets, or were both supposed to work together at one point..the short version of him is that he is easy to set off, still kicks himself for screwing up his marriage..vey moral..a reader at his Christian Science Temple when he's not on the road..if you want a good perf from him, get his kids on set with him and he relaxes..loves the kids...otherwise he has time to think and brood and stew and then you get a performance like his Martian movie..where he was pretty much screaming most of the time..I think she'd know enough to steer clear..besides, WE know how accurate the press is...all she has to do is flash her highbeams and the rags have her on a nine day affair with someone.. Hey, Rusty..what's IN press kit from the early days of her career, anyway? Keep us posted!

how many Winona items can you GET in one shot? ------ Are you ready for this. I just checked out the web site of the seller that I recently bought the small "Heathers" poster from. It is moviegoods.com. ---- I just placed an order for the movie posters of "Night on Earth", "A Scanner Darkly", "Alien Resurrection", "Celebrity", "Great Balls of Fire", and "Boys". ---- And the great thing is moviegoods is located here in Las Vegas. So I can start checking out the store in person. ----- Rusty

------ I'm beginning to feel like Stephen in paying a small fortune paying for my posters, like he has paid for his Winona Ryder dress collection. . But I only have about 23 posters to go to complete my collection. ----- Rusty
